Rituals of the Church

At the Church of the Earth we practice and guide others in Earth based religions. Our worship style is designed for the individual to learn what is out there so they can choose the path that fits their true self. We follow a minimum of dogma, striving to maintain the genuine spirituality that is often lost in organized religions.

Our rituals vary wildly, but often include:

  • Cleansing of the people and area

  • Call of the quarters or elements

  • Brief chant or song

  • Guided meditation

  • Occasion specific activity

  • Presentation of alternative beliefs and practices for the occassion

  • Sharing of a transforming activity

  • A time for socializing with each other

Here are our regular activities:

  • Worship Circles on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, 10:30am

  • Full Moons on the closest night

  • Sabbats (Solar Events) on the closest Sunday

  • Pagans’ Night Out (potluck social) on the 2nd Friday of each month from 7:30pm to 10pm

  1. Merry Meet, I am a Neo-Pagan. I live in Graham North Carolina, which is not far. I’m very interested in your church. Could you please send me some information. Blessed Be!

  2. I am very interested in attending some of your gatherings. Would love to spend time with and learn from like minded people. Are you doing any virtual gatherings over the pandemic? I live about 2 hr from Raleigh near Winston-Salem. But am more than willing to make the trips!

  4. Eclectic Pagan, mostly following deities from Celtic, Indian, Norse, and Greek and soon to be Egyptian personally, and I see a connection to them all. I do not fully worship them all but I want to know about them all! I love knowledge. Also the Christian faith lol, Because even though they chose to be ignorant to my beliefs I will not be to theirs knowledge is knowledge. I am a complete pagan with so much knowledge And always looking for more

My family is all Christian I moved back home to NC after 4 years in Buffalo NY and Ive been going to church with my family it’s a peaceful place; and honestly i learn a lot, also don’t agree with a lot! . Some of my family knows I am a bit different in beliefs but I’m not rushing it or completely hiding it either lol my cauldron does not go in the closet! I am 21 I live in a camper on my dads land and I am a proud pagan in the middle of the woods! Left NC a Luciferian came back green witch!

And I’ll be continuously learning of all the deities of the world. I wish to learn of all religions. I truly hope to become part of this beautiful group ; my journeys away from home has opened me to so much culture and true beauty of the world and life itself.

I will attempt to join once I get comfortable again Namaste, and Blessed Be!
