What’s the word is a monthly review posted each month to review the month before. This will discuss all Church happenings, including rituals, classes and workshops, and community service activities.

Please check here to check out the great things Church of the Earth members have completed in the month prior and get a preview of what’s in store for the following month. This way, you can get an idea of what events are and which ones you would like to partake in.

Sunday June 4th

Family Programs Worship Circle

Attendees gathered and honored the elements and learned various meditation forms which involved movements while thinking of the elemental spirits of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Thursday, June 8th

Family Programs Full Moon

Attendees gathered and listened to the book Alexander and the Wind-up Mouse by Leo Lioni. Everyone took a purple pebble on which to make their wishes during a meditation reviewing how we are all where we are meant to be and how we are meant to be.

Saturday, June 10th

Kitchen witchery and Herbal basics class

Attendees gathered and learned the basics of kitchen witchery including terms, tools, and common practices. Attendees then created herbal sachets by choosing provided herbs from a given list of Magickal properties, ground them in a mortar and pestle, then put them into a small bag.

Sunday, June 11th

Social potluck

PNO shifted to PDO- attendees gathered for a lunch time potluck at Lake Wheeler.

Saturday, June 17th

Midsummer Sabat Ritual

Attendees learned of the history of Midsummer and the cleansing fires.

Attendees also make a protective herb and ribbon sachet from lavender, salt, rue, and rosemary in a fire-red bag.

Tuesday, June 27th

Pagan Book Club

Attendees gathered to discuss this month’s reading selection- fairy tales. The next cycle of texts were also selected at this gathering:
